Once again this year, Terasa U Zlaté studně and Coda Restaurant are hosting a Chef’s Contest. The concept is that you book at one or both restaurants for this particular event, get confirmation and then buy a voucher for Czk. 1,950,- per person. The voucher covers a 5-course tasting menu + amuse bouche and accompanying wine menu with 5 tastings and water. There is no need for additional purchases of any kind. The Chef’s Contest is to compare the two experiences, but of course you can settle for just one.

Together with two good friends, I tried the former for a friend’s birthday, and it was a wonderful and flawless experience where the food was fantastic, the wines were well-chosen and the service was outstanding: at the same time completely correct, but also very personalised and occasionally funny.

The price level at Terasa U Zlaté studně is usually very high, but if you hit one of their promotions like this one, it’s really good value for money and I have never felt like some kind of second-class guest, even if I have come for a promotional event.

It runs until 31 March and I think it’s clear that I’m giving it a recommendation 🙂
